Recently I went on a trip to Rome, Italy with my company for a business trip. Our days where mainly spent in a conference room in a hotel on the outskirts of Rome.
However there where a few occasions when we got an opportunity to explore a little of Rome and experience it’s unique culture and take in some of the more famous sights. I was able to see places that I had only seen on TV and read about in books such as the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain.
The city literally has a photo-shoot around every corner and you never know what you might find next. With such a rich and storied history it was easy to forget I was there on business. I took many photos and posted some of the best in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails to see the images at full size.
I thoroughly recommend Rome to anyone, It is a place of great inspiration. I one day hope to return and not have the responsibility of attending a meeting and be able to just fully explore every corner of the city and expand upon the photos I have taken already.
